PPC or “pay per click” advertising is essentially online advertising. You set up your advertisements and every time a customer searches for something specific in Google your ad is displayed along with the results. If the prospective customer clicks on your ad and visits your website you pay for that click.
Similar models exist on many other platforms like You Tube and Facebook. Its not just for Google.
A great thing about PPC is that unlike radio and TV (traditional) advertising is that you can track the effectiveness and revenue generated by every cent you spend on PPC. The era of spray and pray is over.
